1 Peter 4:12-13 (KJV)-Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.
Never allow the enemy to cause you to be discouraged while you are in the season of processing through. The process to some represents difficult trials; heartaches to some; challenging circumstances to others; and situational distress to some. Hard times and trials can be difficult for anyone. However, our heavenly Father knows exactly how to allow each and every one of us to be processed so that we can be used for His glory. It’s just like when a meal is being prepared. The cook knows how long each component of the meal should be on the stove or oven. God knows exactly what we need and what preparation we need in order to operate in purpose.
However, sometimes we can feel like we are more advanced in God than we actually are. Some people murmur and complain during trials because they do not realize the purpose of trials. Trials and tests are for us to see where we are and where we need to be. Tests afford us the opportunity to assess our weaknesses and perfect them before being in the real heat of the battle. Before missiles and rockets are used in war, they are tested. The test is distributed to the student or trainee through the manifestation of trials.
When God gives a command, obedience to the command may be challenged with alternatives that appear to be right. Whether you past the test is up to you and what you decide to do.
Remember, no matter how problematic things may appear, all things are working out for the good and toward the purpose of God on your life.
Now lets talk about how to pass the test and complete the process.
Understand there is a process for every level so you must master these steps so that you can apply them for the next level. God is infinite. Therefore, we continue to grow. We can never know Him too much or have too much of him.
3 Steps to Completing the Process:
1. Maintain a life of prayer (worship, praise,) consecration, and reading the Word of God. Psalms 99:9, John 4:24, Luke 18:1, 2 Timothy 2:15.
2. Eliminate all forms of murmuring and complaining – Fill that place with Praise and exalt God higher than your circumstance. 1 Thessalonians 5:18. This also keeps your faith in God built. Hebrews 11. Psalms 108:1.
3. Maintain fellowship with a Bible believing church. Engage with other saints in Bible study and church activities. Hebrews 10:25
As you travel this journey be not discouraged in well doing. No matter what the forces of hell try to bring your way do not give up on God because He will not give up on you. God is greater than any trial! Keep your Yes Lord in front of you, put one foot in front of the other, and keep moving. You will and can make it through!
